1/23/26 Log
On Friday we got a little break in the cold weather and I was able to get out and feed the 3 hives while it was 53 degrees.
Hive 2 had consumed all of their sugar, was full of bees, and was very aggressive.
Hive 3 had not really touched most of their sugar and I noticed a significant amount of chewed up wax inside on the base board.
Hive 4 had consumed all of their sugar and the paper towel was starting to get gross. The paper towel was replaced and they were refed.
Temperatures after the feeding caused both hives 3 & 4 to rise in the 65 - 73 degree range. Hive 2s temperature has been a steady 90 degrees all winter.
